Testimonials

"Dr. Lyle-Dugas is an exceptional person, and an even better vet. She goes above and beyond for the animals in her care and it is quite obvious that they are not 'just another patient.' Dr. Lyle-Dugas has seen my two golden retrievers on multiple occasions, for multiple reasons and has never disappointed us with her care. I would recommend Dr. Lyle-Dugas to anyone who wants a caring, knowledgeable, talented veterinarian for their animal.

My family members have also brought their pets to be seen by Dr. Lyle-Dugas and they all think she is wonderful as well. She talks to you and explains everything going on with your pet in terms you will understand. Dr. Lyle-Dugas is the vet you want your animals to be seen by--she will not disappoint!"

"Dr. Jocelyn Lyle-Dugas treated my Carlie like family. Carlie was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and we were all devastated. Jocelyn helped Carlie in ways I can't really express. She recommneded acupuncture and Chinese's herbs along with regular pain meds to help her pain. Carlie had acupuncture once a week and we saw an improvement in her pain levels and her spirit. Later we did laser treatments to bring down her pain in her back hips. Carlie really didn't enjoy going to the vet  until we

met Jocelyn. She bought Carlie a toy and treats to bring her joy. Jocelyn is a fantastic person and vet. I was so lucky to have her come in mine and Carlie's lives. When the time came for Carlie to pass, she went above and beyond for our family. Having her as our vet has brought light to a dark situation."

"My husband and I have been rescuing dogs for nearly 12 years together and currently have six dogs all with extensive medical backgrounds. So to say we have our fair share of veterinary experience may be an understatement. There has been good and bad experiences as with everything, however the day we met Dr. Lyle-Dugas I knew we found “the one”. She greets you with this bright, sweet demeanor that truly puts you and your pet at ease.  I have never once felt rushed, she takes the time to validate and address every concern.

One of the biggest things for me was how quickly and efficiently she adapts to a dogs individual needs. She absolutely does whatever she can to make a dog feel safe and comfortable with her vs. just rushing through the motions to complete a task. For example one of our youngest dogs Maya, a large Shepard Dane mix was very uneasy at the vet office. I had thought it was the stress of the entire environment and we just needed to make it a quick check up. Maya was very uncomfortable during check in, showing me clear signs that she was not okay, even snarling slightly at the technicians. And then Dr. Lyle-Dugas came into the examination room and everything changed. Within moments Dr. Lyle-Dugas was giving her a full examination including ears, teeth, checking her abdomen, the whole nine and Maya was totally relaxed and fine. I had made a joke along the lines of 'oh she must like you.' That’s when she had said to me that she noticed Maya does not like eye contact and she was just making it a point to avoid eye contact with her. I was honestly a little in awe. This sweet giant puppy of mine, as her mother I had not noticed that her stranger danger trigger was when other people stare at her. Suddenly so much of her behavior in public just clicked. While any other veterinarian has either been hesitant with Maya or asked for me to muzzle her, Dr. Lyle-Dugas went out of her way to understand what was making Maya nervous and help her. Now that she identified the problem we are able to adapt to her individual needs and her visits are a breeze.

I have been so pleased with the care all of our dogs receive from her but this was one of the first interactions I had with Dr. Lyle- Dugas and I was and continue to be so impressed and pleased with how she goes above and beyond for her patients and I look forward to continue to bring our ever expanding fur family to see her."
